The Ocean Institute in Dana Point is a great place to educate children and appreciate Mother Nature. Children along with adults will have the ability to learn about oceanography, science, and California history, students voyage onto the ocean, study in labs and live aboard tall ships or in the chaparral, where they can feel and taste the salty sea spray, sort through live specimens, observe migrating whales, collect scientific data and investigate the culture and world around them.
On weekends, the Ocean Institute opens it's doors to the public for a sneak peek into how ocean science, history, and literature are used to inspire life-long learners! I highly recommend that you visit the Ocean institute with your family on a weekend in beautiful Dana Point. This is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to keep its doors open.

This Friday, July 25, The Beach Boys will be performing at the Coto De Caza Raquet and Golf Club. The golf club gates will open at 6 p.m. for a preconcert party. The Beach Boys will hit the stage at 8 p.m. on the center court. This is a perfomance all you "California Girls" and boys don't want to miss!

The one sure thing right now is that America will keep spending billions on defense. Raytheon, the 10th largest defense and aerospace contractor in the US, has just leased 78,000 square feet at 120 S. State College Blvd in Brea. This will boost its local presence in OC by nearly 50% once they complete the expansion. Raytheon has it's main local operations in Fullerton and has other operations in Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Irvine and El Segundo. Raytheon is one of the largest defense contractors in the United States.
This is one of the largest office space expansions in Orange County this year. This will be a plus to the OC job market as it creates more opportunities for skilled workers and engineers. In times of an uncertain economy it is great to have industries that are strong like defense companies expanding in Orange County. Raytheon was represented by Cushman & Wakfield Inc.

In Orange County, foreclosures have shot up 49% since last December. Reports are showing that the lowest priced foreclosures are being bought quickly while the higher priced homes, though competitively priced, are staying on the market longer.
An agent in Orange County sponsored a REO Bus for these slow turning homes. He got together a group of interested buyers and bused them around to the different coastal cities. Everyone was able to view the homes and see what is available.
Now what a great idea, Mass property showings. Talk about saving time, meeting with numerous buyers and putting yourself out there.
This is something that we all could be able to do and get more business. The more buyers we speak and see with, the more chances of getting more business.
