11th ANNUAL INVITATIONAL OUTDOOR SCULPTURE EXHIBIT~June 22nd - October 19th, 2008

Last year I did a post about what has turned out to be one of my favorite Concord Hidden Treasures, the Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Gardens. Their new exhibit will be on display from June 22 - October 19. There will be an Opening Reception on Sunday June 22 from 2-4, with music by Dane Olson.

CONCORD MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
An exciting festival that helps to showcase the wonderful multi-cultural community we live in!
To be held on June 21st at the State House Plaza. There will be varied activities such as Music and Dancing, Flag Making and Hair Braiding. There will also be International Foods, Educational Materials, Social Services Information and a Parade!
The festivities run from 5PM- 8:30PM (746-5892) and in case of rain....will be at the Eagle Square Atrium.
The Event is Hosted by: Greater Concord Area Task Force Against Racism & Intolerance

The Seventh Annual River Jamboree- Riverfront Park, 5/31 from 11:00-300. There will be kayaking and canoeing and for the "kids"...face painting, games, a raffle and a duck race. 225-8690
53rd Annual Kiwanis Fair- The Everett Arena, 6/19-6/22. Enjoy the games,concessions, rides and Fireworks on Friday. This year instead of a Trade Fair the Arena will be hosting a Giant Yard Sale on Saturday and Sunday! Hours:5PM-10PMon Thursday, 4-11 on Friday noon-11PM on Saturdy and noon-7 on Sunday.
Annual Downtown Market Days and music festival- downtown from 9AM to 10PM from Thursday 7/17 through Saturday 7/19. They close the streets and have a ball! Something for everyone!
Concord's Fourth of July Celebration- Memorial Field (off Fruit Street) Concessions from 5:30, concert at 6PM and the Nevers band at 8:00. Fireworks start at dusk.Donations accepted at gate!
