Deerfield NH Real Estate Market Activity Report August 2010
We are looking at homes sold data for the last four years verses the last twelve months to determine where the market is headed. 60 homes were sold in 2006 with an average days on market of 152. 2007 saw a 15% decline in the number of homes sold at 51 but they sold 18% quicker at 125 days. With the recession fully entrenched, 2008 saw a 12% drop in the number of homes sold at 45 with the time on the market holding steady at 123 days. With the Federal Home Buyer Tax Credit established to prop up a sagging market, 2009's homes sold popped up 15.5% with days on market still holding at 123.

2006's average sales price held the top of our data at $319,984 with a 3% decline in 2007 to $310,124. 2008 provided a slide of 11.3% to $274,973 and 2009's epic plunge of 16.7% landed at $229,021.
