For 37 years, the Applecrest Harvest Festival has been hosted by Applecrest Farms in Hampton Falls, NH. Applecrest is not only the oldest and largest apple orchard in New Hampshire, it is also the oldest continuously operated orchard in America.
Proudly owned by four generations of the Wagner family, the Applecrest Harvest Festival is the annual celebration of a year of caretaking and stewardship of their many acres of apple and peach trees, berry bushes, and planting, growing and cultivating summer vegetables, sweet corn, and yes, pumpkins. In fact, many acres of pumpkins. And now its time to kick back and invite the public to share the fruits of this labor.
The Applecrest Harvest Festival begins on the first weekend of September and runs through the end of October on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Acres of free parking are available for the hundreds of visitors each day and there is NO admission.
Among the many activities, you will find:
Applecrest Farms, not only serves up some fine New England barbecue, but serves the community by providing MANY part time weekend jobs to local teens during the Applecrest Harvest Festival. These kids work hard to serve the crowds of visitors and do so with smiles on their faces.
So round up your kids, your friends and your appetite and spend a little time outdoors at the Applecrest Harvest Festival and have some fun! Only two weekends left!
