We are expecting near 100 degrees on the east coast by Friday. So when I came across this picture I took while skiing back in March (only four months ago) it put the weather in to perspective for me. This too shall pass.

The ice coated trees with Mount Washington's 6,300 foot summit off in the distance...on a beautiful ski day, will help me get through a little bit of a heat wave. While it may be steaming at ground level it can still be chilly on the mountain tops. I recently Hiked Mount Pemigewasset (known as Indian Head on most trail maps) it was in the mid 70's at the start of my hike - and was below 50 when I reached the top of the mountain.
