NASHUA REALTORS® will be hosting open houses where visitors can drop off nonperishable foods for the Pennichuck Middle School Food Pantry and unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots.
On Sunday, November 13th, BHG, The Masiello Group will host open houses and provide drop off stations for folks to make their donations.
Pennichuck Middle school has started a much needed food pantry and many local families are need of donations of food for the holiday season. In addition, many children throughout New Hampshire will be able to enjoy toys donated through Toys for Tots. In addition, there will be a raffle for a $25 gas card (4 cards total will be raffled off)! Eleven percent of New Hampshire children live in povery, and the state's child poverty rate is up about 83% since 2000.
I will be hosting an open house at 492 Broad Street (across from Brittany Place) in Nashua. Please stop by with your donation and visit this charming 4 bedroom cape, conveniently located near schools, shopping and transportation. The open house will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

The Nashua community Concert Association is beginning its 80th season.
The first performance of the season, Celtic Blaze, will be held on September 27th at 8:00 p.m.
Stephanie Cadman's Celtic Blaze is an creative, entertaining, energetic and exciting performance. The show reflects the Canadian heritage through music and dance.
Stephanie grew up in Ottawa, Canada and she is a world champion tap dancer. Stephanie began her professional career as a lead in the hit musical 'Swingstep'. She next performed in the Mirvish Productions Celtic review 'Needfire', and the Broadway National Tour of '42nd Street'. Stephanie is a founding member of the hit dance show 'The StepCrew', and is also one of Canada’s top violinists featured in 'Bowfire'.
Also performing will be Miranda Mulholland who delights audiences with her singing and fiddling. Celtic Blaze's unique choreography introduce you to the magic of dance and the musical team of James Quinn, guitar; Devin Hornby, bass; Kirk White, percussion, and Brad Fremlin, piano and marching snare drum.
The tickets sell out fast, so if you want to go, you should get tickets right away! This concert will appeal to all ages.
A limited number of tickets for each performance are available for purchase. Call the Nashua Community Concert Association at 603�318�1792 or online purchase can be made at the City Arts Nashua web site.
The concerts are held at the Edmund Keefe Auditorium ~ Elm Street Middle School ~ at the Corner of Elm St and Lake St, in Nashua, NH.

Discover the beauty of Greeley Park
Greeley Park is located north of Downtown in Nashua, New Hampshire and it is Nashua's hidden treasure.
Greeley park was donated by Thorton Greeley on June 3, 1896 and was dedicated on June 1, 1997. It is a lovely park that has something for everyone to enjoy.
The park has horse shoe pits, softball/baseball fields and tennis courts, a small pool and kids play area.
Greeley Park also has an expanse of woods, with hiking trails and exercise stations.
The park is a favorite setting for summer and fall weddings.
The Park also hosts Shakespeare in the Park, music festivals and the annual arts show. Kids can enjoy plays during the summer months. If you are visiting Nashua, you will want to experience Greeley Park.

Enjoy the 57th Annual Greeley Park Art Show to be held on Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd at Greeley Park on Concord Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. Parking and admission to the show is FREE!
The show is presented by the Nashua Area Artists Association and will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on both days.
The Greeley Park Art Show draws displaying artists from across New England. On display will be artwork in diverse mediums such as oils, watercolors, acrylic, pastels, drawing, mixed media, jewelry, sculptures, photography and digital art. Art work will be for sale with prices from under $20 to over $1,000.
In addition to the art show, there will be a classical guitar performance, free trolley rides between Main Street and Greeley Park and artist demonstrations.
You won't want to miss the puppet show featuring Teresa Moler which is scheduled on Saturday at 1:00 p.m and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 3:15 pm.
On Saturday, there will be an adult art show. Judges will awarded various media categories with ribbons and prizes are schedule to be awarded at 2:00 p.m.
On Sunday, there will be a student art competition. Students from 6 to 18 will enter their best work. Students 13 and older may enter a second work in the Fantasy Art category as well. At 4:00 p.m. ribbons and prizes will be awarded.
There will be a raffle of donated art works and gift certificates from local artists and merchants to raise funds for the Nashua Area Artists Association's Scholarship Fund. For more information visit the Nashua Area Artists Association website.

Nashua, New Hampshire celebrates Children's Day!
I seems like most every day is Children's Day.
On Saturday August 14th Greeley Park will be the venue for a special day of celebration. You don't have to be from Nashua to attend. Kids from all over New Hampshire are invited to participate.
