The Mobilr Veterans Center coming to Newport New Hamoshire, 25 August of this year of 2009. The Mobile Vet Center will be at the Senior Center in Newport, which is located at 76 South Main Street. It will be there from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
The White River Junction, Vermont's Mobile Veterans Center is one of a fleet of 50 new such centers that will be traveling through Vermont and New Hampshire to reach underserved Veterans.
The Mobile Veterans Center coming to Newport New Hampshire, is a 39 foot motor coach, with space for confidential counseling, it carries Vet Center counselors and outreach workers to provide nonmedical counseling, and addresses the social and economie needs of Veterans. Which includes counseling for traumatic military-related experiences and family counseling when neeed for the Veteran's readjustment.
Vet Centers, operated by the VA Readjustment Counseling Service, provide high quality nonmedical readjustment counseling to combat Veterans in an easily accessible and trusting atmosphere.
The Mobile Veterans Center coming to Newport New Hampshire, comes out of the White River Junction Vet Center which is located at 222 Holiday Drive, off Sykes Mt. Avenue, about one mile from the VA Hospital. Walk-ins are welcome.
