About Woodstock's Loon Mt Area

Late Thursday break from real estate, a photo journey at Birch Hollow NH

Steve Loynd/ 800-926-5653, White Mountains NH: Real Estate Brokerage in Lincoln, NH

Birch Hollow walk by the water...I Missed My Wordless Wednesday due to early darkness and a full day of work (on my normal Mid-week day away). Wednesday's work offered a great opportunity to wrap up a few offers and turn them into transactions. I took three hours away from work this week (today) and stumbled upon one of my favorite subjects. I love my Birch Trees...in fact we call our house Birch Hollow.

The sun is going down on Birch Hollow and the Pemigewasset River...Woodstock NH.

Birch tree reflections in a small tributary off the main course of the river.

Getting dark too early...a little white on the top of Mount Liberty and Mount Lafayette - Lincoln NH .

Goodnight to the final rays of the Sun...Good Night Birch Hollow. Friday will be filled with new listings, offers and contracts to complete...it was a nice walk tonight at Birch Hollow, Woodstock New Hampshire.

An Afternoon walk in the woods is my sanctuary when a full day off is a rarity.
I enjoy this time among the trees they soar above the trenches were I spend my days.
These are the photos from where I live, they show why I live here.

White Mountain Water, wordless Wednesday

Sun Up on Woodstock New Hampshire, first hard frost in the low valleys. The Foliage is gone, the trees all but bare (except the evergreens) and the Mountains decidedly white capped. Welcome to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I'll post some additional photos later after my Wednesday hike...the Flume Gorge and Mount Indian Head are on the agenda for today's walk in the woods. This view was taken from my kitchen window in Woodstock NH.

Photo Walk Woodstock NH

One red leaf caught in a lazy current among the dead foliage.

A quiet walk along the train tracks and the Pemigewasset river.

The rails along the river....I was 20 minutes ahead of the dinner train.

Woodpeckers have gone to town on this dead tree, I liked the contrast of the river and the yellow leaves.

Glover brook reaches the Pemi river forming this one acre island...I'll walk over when it's frozen in a few months.

Final fall foliage photos...the sun and leaves were going fast...enjoy

I love foliage...the Pemigewasset River and the White Mountains of New Hampshire, here are some of the last foliage photos of the year. The further north I go the less is truly left to see...my shots at sun-down tonight.

Lafyette and Liberty from the pemigewasset river in Woodstock New Hampshire.

Fire and Ice: sun on the eastern banks and complete shadow of the western side of the Pemi.

Rte 175 Bridge at sunset...this shot is taken from a small town park in Woodstock, nice spot for a picnic.

Sales Pitch & foliage pix...The MLS link for Rainmakers, but no land posts "YET"

A sales pitch and some foliage pix.

I was hoping to plug in one of the photos on the new activerain MLS page, but when I did, I got a message that the listing needed # of Bedroom & # of Baths.

Here's how:

1. Go to http://activerain.com/action/listings and click New Listing
2. Upload photos, enter the address, description and stats
3. Click Save Listing
4. Click Activate

In other words, land was not what the A/R gods had in mind for the new application. If you are a rainmaker and wish to load some of your listings in the new featured - benefit…they will appear on the right margin of your blog (see mine).

While I have your Attention ,Here is the scoop on this home site: This half acre site sits on one of the highest points (that is not Forest service land) in the town of Woodstock New Hampshire, It will have a steep driveway…but these are the views. The site has an approved 3 bedroom septic design and access to the community water supply, and has an asking price of $100,000. Listing info here.

The deck pictured above is on a house below the lot I have for sale.

If the folks at Activerain decide to allow land listings, or can tell me how to get around the number of bedrooms and baths as a requirement for posting a listing I would love to hear from you. I have some beautiful sites in the White mountains that I would love to share using this great feature.

In the mean time, feel free to click on the MLS button at the bottom of this post and search all of the listings in Grafton County New Hampshire (44 towns in the White Mountains) by type of property or price.
