Branchburg Police are reminding motorists that accumulated ice and snow must always be removed from their vehicles before traveling on New Jersey's roadways. Bureau of Fire Safety would like to remind all residents to help us help you by clearing snow around fire hydrants. Precious time is wasted when firefighters have to locate hydrants buried in snow. We recommend a minimum of 3 feet in all directions around the hydrant. This is especially important with the recent record breaking snowfall in our area. Help keep fire hydrants visible and useable. Your effort may be the difference in saving a life.
