Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra The Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1978 as an outgrowth of the need for the symphonic repertoire of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries to be broadcast throughout Russia for the benefit of its citizens. It was decided that the orchestra should broadcast performances on a weekly basis. Presently the orchestra follows the European music tradition and does not have a permanent Chief Conductor. Music Director Anatoli Nemudrov invites maestros from Russia and abroad in order to facilitate the continuing development and mastery of the musicians. Alexei Kornienko, music director Alexei Kornienko is a deeply committed musician whose musical drive is rooted in a strong sense of loyalty to the composer's intentions within the score, as well as in a modern responsibility to interpret and demonstrate his individuality in performance. The results of his work are always charged by his personal obsession for music. In 1986, after acting as the Conductor of Concerts for the USSR, Kornienko was appointed professor of piano at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In 1990, after relocating to Austria, Kornienko was appointed music director of the Collegium Musicum Carinthia chamber orchestra. In 1995, he was engaged as guest conductor of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra before founding the Classical Etcetera music series in 1997. In 2001, he was appointed artistic director of the Worthersee Classical Festival. He was engaged as the music director of the Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2005. Alexander Sinchuk, piano Alexander Sinchuk began his study of the piano in the Children's Art School under Elena Kulikova in 1995, at the age of seven and by the age of nine had begun to participate in regional competitions of young musicians, in which he was a winner several times. In March of 2002, he entered and won First Prize in the International Competition for Pianists in Vladivostok, Russia. And in February 2009, Sinchuk made his Carnegie Hall solo recital in Weill Recital Hall. Julian Schwarz, cello 18-year old Julian Schwarz made his orchestral debut at the age of 11 playing the Saint-Saens Concerto No. 1 with the Seattle Symphony with his father, Music Director Gerard Schwarz, on the podium. Since then he has appeared as a soloist with many of the Seattle area orchestras including the Bellevue Philharmonic, Philharmonia Northwest and the Port Angeles, Eastern and Sammamish symphonies. Recent and upcoming appearances include performances with the Greensboro (NC) Symphony, Lake Union Civic Orchestra, San Diego's Tifereth Israel Orchestra, and return engagements with the Seattle Symphony and Port Angeles Symphony. An new announcement came out last week about the $8,000 tax credit that is currently being offered to first time homebuyers in the U.S. It seems like the government is not really satisfied with the activity of home purchases that have been going on and so they are adding another incentive to the program.
Yes interest rates have been at all time lows and this has really helped out current home owners. While mortgage applications are up, many of these new applications are for refinancing and not for purchasing, which still leaves us with an over supply of homes issue.
The new government announcement ups the anti and now the government is allowing qualified individuals to get the $8,000 before next year to pay for closing costs!!
Just so everyone is clear, if you are a first time homebuyer and you buy a house in between April 1, 2009 and Dec 31, 2009 you will get an extra $8,000 check from the IRS!!
Even if you do not have to file a tax return and you are exempt from paying taxes. If this is you, you simply file form 5405 to get the $8,000 check!
Now instead of waiting for the check, you can get an advance on it and use the money for closing costs. *Important note here, you can not use the money for a down payment.* You still have to come up with the 3.5% down and the $8,000 can be used for closing costs only.
If anyone has any questions or simply want to discuss, send me an email at erodriguez@arkmortgage.com.
