As part of the September US tour in support of their album, “Wasting Light”, Foo Fighters will rock the Meadowlands tonight at IZOD Center. Opening for Foo Fighters will be Rise Against and Mariachi El Bronx.

Doors open at 6pm & the show starts at 7pm.

Bergen County will be rockin’ tonight!

Being one of my all-time favorites, I can go on for hours about Park & Orchard...but I'll spare you! The eclectic fare is exceptional, offering many delicious options for all palates. Having been "behind the stick" for over 20 years myself, in many of Bergen County's best, I know food, booze, & the service experience pretty well! And, these folks have honed their craft & exhibit their passion on all fronts!

Park & Orchard has a beautiful "Old-School" bar with the finest in spirits from aperitif to cognac & everything in between, the beer offerings are the highest quality & most interesting you'll find anywhere, and the wine list (yes, all 93 pages) is a work of art! The service...very friendly, accommodating  & knowledgeable. Everyone under the roof is on top of their game at Park & Orchard.

My biggest quandary is what to order because it's ALL fantastic. Right now, I've got a "jones" for the smoked trout in a creamy horseradish dipping sauce, segway to one of their dishes that always sings to me...New Orleans Crawfish Pasta (extra spicy!) with a gorgeous red... WINE, I mean!

Park & Orchard in East Rutherford, NJ: "One of the Best Restaurants in the Country"

Oh what a hideous non-display of offense was put on by the New York Jets tonight. Every curse word and adjective you want to use to describe this debacle, is, was and still will be thrown out unless the Jets get righted soon. For all the good plays on defense (and yet there were still some major flaws in the secondary), the offense squandered great field position in every way possible. The play calling was atrocious and that was a surprise considering that Sanchez is in year two and they expanded the playbook when the playoffs rolled around. This looked like pee-wee footbal and was executed even worse. A ton of holding penalties on offense and defense are inexcusable. The final Jets offensive play was when TE Dustin Keller caught a pass one yard short of the first down marker because he did not run a proper route. Running routes and not committing penalties are two of the most rudimentary fundamentals in football and the Jets failed miserably. It is a long season but the Jets are too talented to let the same mistakes happen twice.
