ILLUMINATI BOOK SIGNING EVENT IN PRINCETON, NJ

Writer Chris Illuminati, a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville and a 2000 Rider University graduate, will sign copies of his new book, A**holeology: The Science Behind Getting What You Want-And Getting Away With It, the humorous and informative new guide for men who wish to become more assertive in business, love and life (Adams Media paperback, 224 pages,$12.95).

The free event will take place at Borders Books in Princeton on Saturday, February 13 from 1 to 3 pm.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ANNUAL HOMEFRONT FUNDRAISER

Once again Homefront needs our help! About 20 volunteers from NJ Young Professionals(NJYP) will assist in running this annual Poker Tournament and Silent Auction. Volunteers will register guests, run poker tables (yes, we need dealers), assist with the Chinese and Silent Auction and so much more!

Please note that volunteers will be spread out all over the restaurant so this event is more focused on volunteering and less focused on socializing with your fellow volunteers.

Hours:
Volunteers are needed from 3:30 to 10pm.

Dress Code:
Please wear a nice BLACK top and nice pants (dark wash jeans are fine).
Wear comfortable shoes but do NOT wear sneakers.

Deposits:
Because they are relying on us we are asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $10.10. The $10.10 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted up until noon on the day before the event.

Morven Museum & Garden

Morven Museum & Garden, the former New Jersey Governor's mansion located at 55 Stockton Street in Princeton, will hold its annual Festival of Trees from December 2, 2009 through January 10, 2010, when the museum's galleries will be adorned with beautiful holiday trees decorated by area businesses and organizations . The Festival of Trees hours are: Wednesday - Friday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday noon - 4 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors and students. There is free on-site parking. Ticket price also includes admission to the museum's exhibition, Rocks & Dinos!
