Community Fundraiser: Seaside Rotary Waiter Night at LUNA ROSA Trattoria, Sunday Jan. 30, 2011

The Seaside Rotary is sponsoring Waiter Night at the Luna Rosa restaurant on Sunday, January 30, 2011. The Rotary is donating a portion of the ticket proceeds and pooled tips to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program at Hugh J. Boyd School, Seaside Heights NJ.

There will be 2 seatings on Sunday, Jan. 30., one at 4:00 p.m. and one at 7:00 p.m. Cost for adults is $22.00; a child's menu is available for $12.00. Remember that your participation will benefit the Seaside Rotary and the Big Brothers & Big Sisters Program.

Seaside Rotary members will be serving your 3-course Luna Rosa meal. The entrees they may drop you may choose are:

• Penne Vodka
• Roast Pork loin;
• Chicken Francese
• Chicken Parmigiana;
• Tilapia Francaise.

According to the Luna Rosa website, its new name is Luna Derosa. In any case, the address is 401 Boulevard, Seaside Heights NJ.

Well, it is that time of year again! Seaside Heights begins its weekly fireworks show tonight

• When: Wednesday Nights at 9:30pm from June 24th through Sept 2nd
• Where: Seaside Heights, NJ. The fireworks can be viewed from anywhere along the boardwalk
• Weather: Yes, the Fireworks are dependant on weather. So they may be cancelled for bad weather, this can include wind conditions that would make it dangerous as well as rain...
  • If there is Rain the show will be Friday

Lets hope this rain goes away and we have a gorgeous summer ahead of us!

Annual Seaside-Walk to Defeat ALS

• What: A two Mile Walk to raise money to Defeat ALS
• When: 10am Saturday May 16, 2009
• Where: Seaside Heights Boardwalk, Beginning at Hiering Ave
• ALS: A neuromuscular condition with no known cause or cure. Funds raised at the walk will support research to find a cure for ALS and to provide patients with support including home care, Clinics Equipment etc.

We are less than 2 months away from Saint Patrick's Day and the organizers of this year's parade are looking for your help!

Seaside Heights and Seaside park are hosting the 2009 Saint Pattty's day parade. Organizers are looking for more than 40 parade marshals and are in need of volunteers to help organize the parade as well.

The Parade will be at Noon on March 14th 2009.

The Seaside Heights boardwalk is the areas main attraction! During the summer months, everything is open and you can expect many crowds. The boardwalk offers patrons many wheels of chance where you can win prizes ranging from small stuffed animals to TV's, VCR's, concert tickets, bicycles, etc., etc. The boardwalk offers patrons the chance to dine on just about anything with many pizza shops, sausage stands, cotton candy machines, candy apple stands, etc., etc. Seaside Heights Bars and Nightclubs are another HUGE attraction that brings in thousands of vistors to enjoy this unreal night life!!!

Q. What do I need to bring with me to my scheduled rental?

A. All you need to bring is...Bed linens, towels, toiletries, black garbage bags (for your garbage), clothes (of course), food, any cleaning supplies you might need (to clean your mess), and your cash security deposit.

Q. What bar and nightclubs are in the area?

A. Seaside Heights offers plenty of nightlife, including but not limited too, the Bamboo bar, Club XS, Temptations, Yakety Yak's, Riggers, Wine Cellar, Sawmill, and Klee's.

Q. What are the prevailing rates?

A. Prom specials are set at a specified rate and all prom tenants must agree to act as adults! Please call or email for prom rate information.
