During the month of January 2008 Sparta Twp., NJ reported there were 46 newly marketed properties. Of these properties 3 of the 46 went under contract within that month. The average asking price of these properties are $677,769.00. The lowest asking price is $150,000.00 for a ranch style home with 4 rooms 1 bedroom and 1 bath. The most expensive property reported for the month is a Custom Home on over 29 acres with 12 rooms 5 bedrooms and 5.1 baths the asking price is$1,999,000.00 this property has been on the market before.

Sparta Twp., NJ is central located in Northern NJ and is in close proximity to Routes 15 & 80n and is less than 30 minutes to buses, trains & Picatinny Arsenal. The township offers good schools, parks and recreation and has lots of wooded area's filled with wildlife. A great area to raise a family. During the month of January 2008 there were 26 newly market properties in Lake Mohawk Sparta with an average asking price of $734,958.00.

The lowest priced property is asking $279,000.00 it is a 5 room ranch with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The highest priced property is asking
$1,950,000.00 a Custom Home located on the Island it offers 9 rooms 4 bedrooms 3.2 baths and a 2 car garage.

During the month of January 2008 there were two newly marketed properties in Lake Mohawk Byram Township. One property was listed for $327,500.00 a Contemporary Style Home with 10 rooms 4 bedrooms and 2 full bath. The second property is asking $349,900.00 a Lake-style Ranch with 7 rooms 4 bedrooms 2 full baths and 1 car garage. The average asking price is $338,700.00.

There was one property that closed title with an asking price of $750,000.00 and actual Sold price of $675,000.00.

One property was withdrawn from the market with an asking price of $450,000.00 a 9 room 4 bedroom 2.1 bath home built in 1970.

Lake Mohawk Byram Township is situated on the South side of the Lake and enjoys all the same activities as Lake Mohawk Sparta the exception is that there is a different school system and the Taxes for Lake Mohawk Byram are much lower.
