Westwood New Jersey saw Four homes closing in the popular town as the Holiday real estate market and 2011' comes to a close. The list to sale price differential hovered around the 91% mark. This indicates that homes are both being priced to sell and selling within 9% of their asking price. The popularity of this town is still strong although the overall market prices are down. Keeping in mind the number of homes to close this month verses last month was down and the average Sold price was down substantially from last month as well with the average sale price being $373,125 for the Hub of the Pascack Valley town of Westwood New Jersey.
Westwood NJ is amongst the 8 Pascack Valley towns of Bergen County New Jersey and it's thriving downtown business district has prompted it to be known as the "Hub" of the Pascack Valley. This small community minded town is constantly changing to keep up with the times while maintaining that very desirable small town feel. 
The price differential for December was around 9% which was lower than the previous month. The average days on the market was 94 for the month of December indicating that the Pascack Valley area market continues to hold it's own in these challenging times. Homes are remaining on the market for less time this month.
