El Bosque is a gated neighborhood in Northwest Albuquerque that's located off of Coors near Montano near Oxbow.

No, that's not the Rio Grande, that's one of the many acequias that are all over Albuquerque. Acequias are used for irrigation throughout the valley. This acequia runs parallel to the Rio Grande and is located right next to El Bosque.
Here's a ditch head in Corrales NM. The ditches are opened to allow the water to flow from he acequia to different fields.

El Bosque is conveniently located for access to Montano and Coors Blvds for easy access to other parts of the Albuquerque Metro Area. But with home sites like these why would you want to leave?
