Good Samaritan Renders Aid to I-40 Rollover Victim.

Spencer Wert by all account is a local Good Samaritan. Yesterday afternoon about 2:45 pm as he was driving Westbound on I-40, between Rio Grande and Coors, he witnessed a rollover. Unlike the countless other motorists who saw the accident and just went on their merry way, Spencer pulled over and Took Action...In his own words, "I was preparing myself for the worst." As the father of three ran towards the overturned 4Runner, he spotted a few children's personal effects." He told me, he was relieved when he got to the vehicle and there was only one occupant...A young lady in her twenties. He pulled her out to safety, assessed her condition, checked to make sure that the gas tank was not leaking, then waited until the first responders arrived. Then and only then did he consider leaving the scene.

Spencer's action speaks volume about the kind of individual he is. He is a Model Citizen. Albuquerque needs more people like him who are willing to step up to the plate and help. I applaud Mr. Spencer Wert for such a selfless act.

The total number of sales rebounded nicely in 2010.

The average sales price has been relatively stable over the last 5 years with a slight increase in 2007 and 2008.

There has also been a rebound in the number of attached sales in 2010.

Average Sales price was also up in 2010.

Has the Real Estate Market Turned in Ladera Heights?

The number of closed sales and the average sales price both seem to indicate that the market has turned in Ladera Heights. However, this is due in great part to the stimlus effect of the first time home buyer tax credit which will be expiring soon.
