Laurelglen in Green Valley - Henderson NV
Henderson NV home buyers love the neighborhoods and amenities of Green Valley, the city's first master planned community. Laurelglen is a community of 111 two-story homes built by Coleman Homes from 1990 to 1993.
Homes in Laurelglen have three to six bedrooms and living areas of 2,535 to over 3,600 square feet. Most have three-car garages, and eighty have pools to beat the desert heat. Lot sizes range from 6,426 square feet to nearly one half acre, with eighteen homes having lots larger than 10,000 square feet. Sales prices in 2010 have been from $335,000 to $375,000.
The Clark County School District oversees all of the Henderson public schools. Homes in Laurelglen are zoned for Selma Bartlett Elementary, Barbara & Hank Greenspun Junior High, and Coronado High School for the 2010-11 academic year.
Like most Green Valley neighborhoods, Laurelglen benefits from a well thought-out master plan. Mountain View Park and Selma Bartlett Elementary school are only minutes away. Golfers will love the proximity of The Legacy Golf Club, (18 holes, 7,233 yards), just a couple of solid tee shots down Wigwam Parkway.
You can find a good book or do some genealogy research at Paseo Verde Library (two miles south on Green Valley Parkway), or head four miles north to the Green Valley Library at the corner of Sunset Road. Just across the 215 Beltway you'll find a wide variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and recreational activities at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, the Henderson Pavilion, and The District at Green Valley Ranch.

From the 215 Beltway, exit on Green Valley Parkway heading north. Turn right on Wigwam Parkway. Just past Pebble Road, turn right on Lily Glen into Laurelglen. View map.
