About Henderson's The District

The events of September 11, 2001 were the defining moments of a generation. Our country and our world changed that day in ways that many of us never imagined.

Sculptor Riis Burwell designed Spirit Form Emerging as a memorial to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The title of this 17' bronze sculpture "is meant as a tribute to the collective spirit of those who perished that day as well as all of us who remain and were transformed by that event."

On the tenth anniversary of 9/11, let us remember and renew that collective spirit. While never forgetting those who lost their lives, or the families and friends that were left behind, we must continue to press forward with inspiring resilience and resolve.

Christmas at The District at Green Valley Ranch

As the last minutes of the day fade to darkness, thousands of lights bring the Christmas spirit to The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson Nevada. Over 50 stores and restaurants are ready to help shoppers find the perfect gift or some holiday cheer.

Children can have their picture taken with Santa this Friday from 4PM to 8PM, Saturday from 10AM to 5PM, and Sunday from Noon to 5PM.
