Sun City Mesquite is Del Webb's newest active adult community. Located in Mesquite, NV, just 80 miles north of Las Vegas, it is close to the enteratainment capitol of the world yet very serence and peaceful. Mesquite is also only 40 miles from St. George, Utah. Since a picture is worth 1000 words, I'm going to skip the words and show you some pictures I took yesterday while driving around the community. But first I will just mention a few of the amenities availabl in this community. 1. The Conestoga Golf Club 2. 30,000 square foot recreation center with fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools. 3. Miles and miles of hiking trails. 4. Tennis, bocce and pickle ball courts.

Several months ago my partner Michelle, and I transfered to another real estate company in order to grow our business. While a new building was being prepared for the many many agents that work at our new company, we squeezed into offices with some other agents and piled our unpacked boxes into corners. We worked like this for a while trying to be patient while we waited to see where we would be placed.

As the time to move into the new office grew nearer, agents began to fight over the new office space at our new building that gets more walk-in traffic. We being the newest agents to the company began to feel a little like red-headed step children. It was determined by the powers that be that we would stay at the old office with a few others while the rest of the agents moved down to the other location.

After the big shuffle, Michelle and I ended up sharing the space that used to be the conference room and we are quite pleased with the results. We now have plenty of room for clients and plenty of quiet to get our work done. We also have the best view in town! Sun City Mesquite 55 + Community has the only bocce ball court around here - one of the many activities offered to residents at their Pioneer Recreation Center. You can bring your own bocce balls or use one of the sets that the Rec Center provides for residents. I thought that Bocce was a game, but is considered a sport by those who play it. :)

According to BocceBallRules.net - "Bocce is without a doubt one of the most exciting and enjoyable sports." I have not played it yet, myself, but I am certainly looking forward to my first game. I don't think I will need a lesson, just some practice if I want to win - like all sports, right? I have watched some play and it really does look like fun.

"No matter your level of competition, the rules of bocce are relatively basic, and allow you to start playing and enjoying this wonderful game within minutes."

I do know that you have to keep the ball within the cement borders - This might be difficult for me - I never could color within the lines.

So ... I am not going to tell you how to play bocce - but when I do play it, I will make an exciting video for you all to enjoy.
