Zomboo Presents "Godmonster of Indian Flats" - Nevada Historical Society (1650 N Virginia St, Reno), 2pm. Local Channel 8 celebrity Zomboo will be on hand to introduce this cult classic movie that was filmed in the Reno/Virginia City area. Zomboo will also do a meet and greet, where attendees can get a photograph with him. Cost: FREE.

Virginia City Ghost Tours
- Nevada Historical Society (1650 N Virginia St, Reno), 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Bats in the Belfrey, who offer guided tours of the paranormal in Virginia City, will show photos and recordings of the paranormal findings they have come across in the investigation of local Reno area haunts. Cost: FREE.

Ghost Tours of the Museum - National Automobile Museum (10 S Lake St, Reno), 1:00pm to 4:00pm. As part of the price of admission, the museum will share ghostly stories from years past. Cost: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+), $4 for kids (ages 6-18) and free for kid under 6.

Great Pumpkin Carnival - Alf Sorensen Community Center (1400 Baring Blvd, Sparks), 6:00pm to 8:30pm. As an alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, come enjoy carnival games, a haunted house and a special contest for homemade costumes for children ages 12 and under.

Halloween Hollow - Reno's Riverwalk District, 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Merchants will open their doors for trick-or-treaters, play some fun Halloween games and enjoy live entertainment. There will even be a raffle for $1 per ticket. All proceeds benefit Children's Cabinet. You can get a trick-or-treating map from any merchant in the Riverwalk District. Cost: FREE.

Charlene Hamilton and wine tasting in RenoThe new and improved Reno Wine Walk is back. OK. It's not exactly "new". But, it is a great way to get out, visit with the people of your community, browse the local businesses and sip some great wine in the process. Held the third Saturday of the month, every month, from 2-5pm at the Reno Riverwalk, the Wine Walk is the best ticket in town. This Saturday January 16th, visit any of the participating Riverwalk merchant below, hand over $20, flash your ID and you'll get an ID bracelet and a wine glass that is your ticket to free wine sampling at any business participating in the Reno Wine Walk. The Reno Riverwalk Association only asks that you refrain from bringing strollers or pets because crowds tend to be large.

If you love wine, you'll LOVE the new and improved Reno Wine Walk on Saturday, January 16th. It's a blast. Enjoy Reno wine the responsible way at the Reno Wine Walk.

Come to Reno on November 21st, 2009 from 2-5pm to enjoy the Holiday Sip and Shop at the Riverwalk Merchants Wine and Walk.The monthly Riverwalk Merchants Wine Walk in Reno is all about the Holiday Sip and Shop this Saturday, November 21st from 2-5pm. This popular event takes place along the Truckee River and its neighboring streets in the downtown Reno area. For only $20 per person with a valid ID, you receive an ID bracelet, a wine glass and a map showing you which Riverwalk merchants participate in the Reno Wine Walk. With this bracelet, you can sample any wine you wish at the stores of your choice, providing they participate, of course. Feel free to browse through the cafes, shops and more while enjoying your own private wine tasting. There are drawings for a wide variety of great prizes from local Reno merchants. Participation in this event helps local Reno charities as well. Since this event tends to draw large crowds, you should leave the strollers and pets at home. Parking is available at any one of the public lots shown on the Riverwalk Merchants Wine Walk parking map.
