Welcome to the Brooklyn Bridge by Feng Shui Manhattan

Welcome to the Iconic and Historic Brooklyn Bridge

Have you ever wanted to be in two places at once? Traveling from Long Island, to Brooklyn New York and walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, Ms. Cerrano was in 3 different locations in one day!

After her Feng Shui Consultation in the Historic neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, Ms. Cerrano walked to the pedestrian entry point of the Brooklyn Bridge to travel across. The Brooklyn Bridge was built in 1883 and stretches across the East River. The bridge's construction took fourteen years, involved 600 workers and cost $15 million (more than $320 million in today's dollars). At least two dozen people died in the process, maybe even more, including its original designer. Now more than 125 years old, this iconic feature of the New York City skyline still carries roughly 150,000 vehicles and pedestrians every day.

walking toward New York City on the Brooklyn Bridge

The fascinating experience about walking over the Brooklyn Bridge besides the view and history, was that you were in two places at once. To the east of the bridge was Down Town Brooklyn and to the west Down Town Manhattan. Within a matter of minutes you can relocated yourself into two different cities at the same time.

Living in Brooklyn Heights

"America's First Suburb", Brooklyn Heights, stretches from the Brooklyn Bridge's nearby Old Fulton Street to the East River. It's directly across the East River from New York City, with public transportation plentiful enough to make trips into Manhattan from Brooklyn Heights a snap.

Brooklyn TownhomesGorgeous architecture is a highlight of this picturesque and historic neighborhood. Large composed of picturesque rowhouses, Brooklyn Heights features a great range of architectural styles and was the first neighborhood protected by the 1965 Landmarks Preservation Law of New York City.

The Promenade is a favorite spot amongst locals, displaying stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Skyline and the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge. It also features an unobstructed view of the Macy's July 4th fireworks.

The preservation of the beautiful architecture and original homes is enhanced by the scarcity of high-rise buildings. This detail helps to create a small-town atmosphere in the middle of one of the most vibrant and populated areas in the country.

Brooklyn Bridge ParkNumerous subway lines service the area and proximity to bridges into Manhattan enhance the accessibility of this prominent neighborhood.

The newly expanded Brooklyn Bridge Park is a jewel in the crown of this neighborhood. Safe, clean, tree-lined streets offer the perfect blend of old-world charm and big city appeal wrapped into one beautiful and unique neighborhood.
