Step away from your home emotionally and look at what you see. Is your home inviting? You want buyers to look at your home and say "I want to get inside that home". Keep your home neat and clutter free. Start to discard unused items such as toys, clothing, tools, ect. Empty cabinets and closets half way to show how big and useful they are. Paint goes a long way and is an inexpensive way to add value. Oil hinges, repair cracks, the little things make a big difference.
