With more stress in the local real estate market on Long Island than ever, regularly scheduled networking events are drawing more and more people. Last night, the once a month meeting sponsored by a group of brokers, mortgage and home inspection professionals, was a huge success. The venue, Wildfish, a charming seaside restaurant on Guy Lombardo Avenue on Freeport's Nautical Mile, was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening with old friends. With an attentive staff, open vistas, and really good food, this location has become a favorite for the crowd.

The weather couldn't have been better, unseasonably warm temperatures luring people outside to the spacious paver patio overlooking the water. Many of us lingered for hours over a few drinks and a lot of enjoyable conversation. It was only when I said, "Is that rain or is someone spitting on my head," that we headed back indoors for our final goodbyes, before heading home in what turned out to be a torrential rain.

For those of you who haven't tried Wildfish, I highly recommend that you do. The ambiance, customer care and food will bring you back, time and again.
