You can navigate to this North Shore community by Route 25A to Nathan Hale Drive. These are brick structure garden style apartments in Suffolk County with units on the 1st or 2nd floor. It was built in 1950 so an available unit may need some updating. On the grounds of Nathan Hale co-op there is an inground pool and there are laundry facilities and storage. Students who live in this co-op community can attend the Huntington School District #3. Nathan Hale is close to Heckscher Park and the Village of Huntington. The Long Island Railroad Station by New York Avenue can take you to New York City which is about 36.5 miles from Huntington. There is a non-refundable processing fee required to buy an apartment at Nathan Hale Co-ops, as well as a credit check fee and move-in fee (the move-in fee is refundable if there is no damage to the unit upon moving). Also, there is a membership for the pool, and if a parking space is available or storage unit, there are extra charges. Public records for 2009 shows that co-ops at Nathan Hale in Huntington Long Island sold between $285,000 to $342,500.
