Bergdorf Goodman is one of my favorite department store to window shop and visit when I need a treat for myself. Looks like they have changed their window display to the Spring 2012 collection, I could not help myself but snapping few photos of these designer collection.

Bergdorf Goodman is a sophisticated department that have one of the kind exclusive designer collections, from couture designers from Narciso Rodriquez, Chloe, and Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Lanvin to Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Chanel, Prada and much more. Floor two through four has well decorated dressing rooms with Central Park views to give visitors the ultra luxury shopping experiences.

Bergdorf Goodman caters to its range of audience of sophisticated, understated shoppers, various designer collections to satisfy more modern tastes. There are also extensive collection of handbags, shoes and accessories; there are other floors with antique offerings, bridal services and fur collections. On ninth floor there is the top notch salon by John Barrett as well.

Bergdorf Goodman also offers its end seasonal sale where prices can be very attractive and shoppers enjoy some great savings.

It is the western part of Greenwich Village. Its boundaries include the Hudson River on the west and either Sixth or Seventh Avenue’s on the east and extends from 14th Street down to Houston St. This neighborhood is primarily residential and is filled with lots of restaurants, shops and services. It has been known as “Little Bohemia” since 1916 because it has been the center of the bohemian lifestyle on the West Side. West Village is home to the High Line Park. It is a 1.45 section of the former elevated freight railroad called the West Side Line. It has been repurposed into an urban park, which has led to real estate development in the neighborhoods that lie along the former line.

The roads are laid out in the 18th century grid plan as opposed to the Commissioners’ Plan of 1811, making them confusing to residents and tourists alike. It is home of the Meatpacking District, an area that is filled with trendy boutiques and night clubs. A few of the neighborhood’s highlights include the Hudson River Park, the Stonewall Inn, The Cage, White Horse Tavern, and the Westbeth Artists Community. Some of the neighborhoods delicious restaurants include Corner Bistro, Bar Six, the Pearl Oyster Bar, Waverly Restaurant and the Spotted Pig. Shopping anyone? You can find such places as Bleecker Street Records, Murray’s Cheese Shop, O Ottomanelli’s & Sons, Alphabets and Stella Mc Cartney.
