Misty Morning
I was on my way to put signs up on a parcel of land I had listed when I ran across the morning mist. There is always something intriguing about going through the mist, and down this country road there was much to see. When I came to this barn with the beautiful landscape behind it I just had to stop and take a shot, this was my favorite scene of that misty morning.

I read Myrl's post yesterday about the two types of Wordless Wednesday posting. As you already know. mine are rarely ever wordless.
This morning I needed to put up a for sale sign and I thought I would get an early start since the heat and I mutually hate each other.
On my way back I ran across this turtle who was out for an early morning stroll. I could not resist taking a photo. There must be lots of turtles on the move since I saw another one crossing the road yesterday in a different part of the County.
My last post was encouraging each and everyone to take time to enjoy the small things in life. As real estate agents up and about we sure get many moments like this.

Saturday I was showing houses and it was cold and windy I couldn't wait to get home and have a cup of tea. AnywayI decided to take a different way home so I went down this country road with wide open fields, old farmhouses and barns. As I went by this particular barn all I could think of was how cold it was. It would have helped if I had only turned the car heater up.

This gem at 142 Torre Rock Milan NY was listed by Jennnifer Fivelsdal of Keller Williams Realty Team and was just sold for $370,000.
Tucked away behind iron gates on beautifully landscaped acres with a small stream nearby. To me, it was the perfect country retreat and the seller thought my description was very appropriate.
There was a lot of interest in this house even after the contract was signed I suppose the many pictures online was a contributing factor.
I am also positive the new buyers will be happy there.
The living room with a large stone fireplace will be ideal for formal winter entertainment and in the summer much time will be spent poolside by the cabana.
And that's not all, there is a small cottage on the property where a friend can stay giving you both your own space. ( virtual tour)
Milan is a town in North Dutchess County, New York and is right next to Red Hook and Rhinebeck. Actually, some of the students in the town of Milan are in the Red Hook School District and the other half are in Pine Plains.
This town is very popular with with people looking for a second home and why not, it has that country charm yet is just minutes away from wonderful restaurants, parks, performing arts centers and much more.
So far, this year 15 single family homes were sold ranging from $67,000 to $550,000. At present there are 5 accepted offers and homes available for sale ranging from $105,000-$3,950,000.
If you are thinking of purchasing a home in Milan I would welcome the opportunity to assist you. Or if you are a seller I would love to put up the sold sign for you too.
