90 miles north of Manhattan NYC and 70 miles south of Albany NY, off exit 18 is a gem of the Mid-Hudson
Valley. Welcome to New Paltz NY 12561.
A popular area for visitors with all New Paltz has to offer.
The Wallkill River runs through New Paltz. Along the River is the historic Huguenot Street with it's charming old stone houses. Minnewaska State Park is to the east along with Mohonk Mountain House a popular destination for vacationers looking to get away from the everyday. Various outdoor activities are available.
Rock climbers and view seekers enjoy the Shawangunk Ridge which is
easily seen from New Paltz and surrounding towns of Gardiner and Shawangunk. Just to the west of the Thruway is the Main Street with shops eateries. Just before crossing the Wallkill Rive on 299 is the famous Water Street Market with shops and activities for everyone. Water Street Market lends out bicycles for daily use.
Running along the Wallkill River is the Rail Trail a popular location for bikers, runner and walkers.
8 miles to the East is Highland,the Hudson Valley Rail Trail, the Walkway over the Hudson and the Franklin Delano Memorial Bridge which connects Ulster County to Dutchess County. New Paltz is 11 miles to the Poughkeepsie Train Station and Metro North.

Getting around the area is really easy. The New York State Thruway Exit 18 is the New Paltz Exit. just 90 miles north of Manhattan. Once you are here there are many forms of transportation available.

Looking Beyond by Feng Shui New York Consultant Laura Cerrano
Laura Cerrano Feng Shui NY consultant was blessed and very excited to have the opportunity returning back to her old stomping ground, SUNY New Paltz. Walking the campus, Laura reminisced of so many excellent memories.
Watching the sunset, she noticed students discussing their future together. Tis the time for graduation, and for many this can be an exciting and scary moment in life.
