Brighton Green has been moving along pretty well this year in spite of market conditions. First time home buyers have really taken advantage of the incentives being offered by the builder and buying with FHA loans allowing them to buy with 3.5% down versus the more traditional 20%.

There are two new building ready for purchase and move-in by the end of this month or October. Prices have been improved with 3 bedroom townhouses now starting at $299,900 with upgrades included. I found out an interesting bit of news yesterday... While my townhouse community of Brighton Green is FHA approved, meaning you can buy a home with 3.5% down, it turns out it is also VA approved! That means veterans and others looking to purchase a home using a VA loan can purchase in Brighton Green with no problem. But here's a sad truth about Brighton Green... During the first week of January almost half of our move-in ready homes found homeowners. Many home buyers who waited until after the holidays were over were disappointed to learn that the move-in ready home they were interested in had been sold.
