May 14, 2-8 PM, Nyack - Nyack's African American Day Parade (rain date 5/21). The celebration will start with a parade through the streets of Nyack to Memorial Park. Marchers will start at Midland and Fifth avenues, go to Main Street, march down Main Street to South Broadway, then from Depew Avenue into the park. April 23, 10-3PM, Nyack, NY:- YMCA HEALTHY KIDS DAY. Rockland YMCA invites kids and parents in Rockland County to come to the Y for a play date. School-age children will enjoy the activities such as parachute games, family swim, arts&crafts, karate, face painting, family fitness activities, games at Memorial Park, healthy snacks and much more! Healthy Kids Day will kick-off at 10 AM with a walk at the North Parking Lot of Rockland State Park. Activities continue at the Y's Nyack Facility (35 South Broadway) starting at noon.
