Because of the geographic location, children of the residents of Oyster Bay Cove go to three different school districts - Oyster Bay-East Norwich, Syosset or Cold Spring Harbor.

Oyster Bay Cove, NY and Cove Neck, NY are so different from the Hamptons because you can keep your privacy here. Oyster Bay Cove, NY and Cove Neck, NY do not have the glitz and glamour of the Hamptons and people don't gawk at celebrity here. George & Abby (Rockefeller) O'Neill of Oyster Bay Cove have an annual fundraising event for Community Foundation which largely supported the Youth and Family Counseling Agency. Mrs. Francis Storrs who owns a big house with a big ballroom in Cove Neck lends her home to some organizations to do fundraising events. Mr. & Mrs. Roger Bahnik, CEO of MillMax Corp. who have a home in Oyster Bay Cove do a lot of fundraising events for the benefits of the Boys and Girls Club of Oyster Bay. Mr. & Mrs. Charles Dolan of Cove Neck celebrate their 4^th of July wedding anniversary with a firework to be enjoyed by people in the area.
