The selection of wonderful food is staggering: Corned Beef, the BEST Pastrami sandwiches, Turkey and split pea soup that can't be found anywhere else. Regal Kosher Deli in Plainview NY first opened its doors on Old Country Road in Plainview New York in 1966 and it remains a favorite to this day.

You're greeted by smiles and friendly service but it's the FOOD here that is second to none. Knishes even come in two different ways....round or square. If you don't have time to eat there, they'll pack it up for you.

Laura and I are regulars. As a matter of fact, one of the cooks took a picture for us of the food because we were getting so much glare shooting it through the glass. He did it with a smile. "You're writing about US?" he asked with a smile.
