Schools: The town of Pompey covers part of three separate public school districts: the Fabius-Pompey Central School District which has one elementary school (kindergarten through 5th grade) and one middle / high school (6th through 12th grades); the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District which includes three elementary schools (Enders Road, Fayetteville and Mott Road), two junior high schools (Eagle Hill, Wellwood) and one high school (Fayetteville-Manlius); and the Jamesville-Dewitt Central School District which includes three elementary schools (Moses Dewitt, Jamesville and Tecumseh), one middle school (Jamesville-Dewitt) and one high school (Jamesville-Dewitt).

Pompey is a town in the southeast part of Onondaga County, approximately 25 minutes from the city of Syracuse, New York. The Town of Pompey is one of the faster growing towns in a rural setting which offers quiet solitude, spaciousness, natural beauty and a rich historical heritage, having celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 1994. Everyone wants trees in their back yard and a creek running nearby, and Pompey has plenty of both!

Parks/Lakes/Recreation: Pratts Falls Park, Highland Forrest and Camp Brockway are parks which provide picnic facilities for large and small groups, cross country skiing and hiking. There are 2 golf courses in Pompey (Delphi, Pompey Hills) and several others within close proximity.
