Traveling to the North Eastern end of Long Island NY I came across a NY State park called Wildwood. I have heard of this park but have never been. Wildwood State Park is 600 acres of undeveloped forest that overlooks the Long Island Sound. You can have picnic's, enjoy a swim, go hiking and my favorite CAMPING!! You have best of both worlds in my opinion, You get to play in the woods and just a small stroll away be near the beach..wonderful!!

Running through the Wildwood woods, which I recommend!! During my run I encountered a doe with her two fawn and they were FAST!!

Taking in the views of Wildwood State Park, I came across a family of Geese, a very large family. I watched them for about 30 minutes, why? Because the baby Geese where struggling to pull themselves up from the pond, but with determination and encouragement from the rest of their family they succeeded and overcame (to them) a giant challenge in life. This can be the same for use, no matter how hard life seems... continue to push through, each time you will grow and become stronger in all aspects :)
