Fall FestivalHisey Park Hosting 6th Annual Fall Festival October 22 2011

Are you ready for another Fall Festival opportunity? This Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., make a visit to Warren County Park's Hisey Park at 5344 Middletown Rd, Corwin OH 45068 (located just a bit to the southeast of Waynesville and close to the Little Miami River).

You're going to get everything you expect from a fall festival, and maybe even a bit more! Live music, a petting zoo, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, food, crafts, Halloween Costume contests (with prizes for dogs and kids!). Mix in some farm equipment, a Care Flight fly-by, Civil War encampment, a Native American encampment, and you can see why this event has grown year after year.

And while you're there, you can enjoy a stroll through the wooded trails and meadows, and since the Glen Helen Raptor Center will be there, you can see some of their birds of prey!

So if you're looking for an opportunity to get in another fall festival before the frost sets in and all you want to do is stay inside! It's still beautiful out! The leaves are brilliant (although a LOT of them are already decorating the ground!).

For more information on the event, contact the Warren County Park District between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mon-Fri at 513-695-1109 or email parkboard@co.warren.ho.us.
