It's time for another Festival! This one is the Panegyri Greek Festival hosted at Finneytown's Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 7000 Winton Rd! This is one of Cincinnati's biggest festivals, and Panegyri Greek Festival is now in it's 37th edition!
Admission is just $2, a portion of which goes to the Cincinnati FreeStore-FoodBank.
There's a free shuttle service that will take you from the St. X High School parking lot (USE IT! It's going to get crowded...100,000 people expected!). (600 W. North Bend Rd, Cincinnati OH 45224 to make your GPS happy!).
Hours of operation are Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday 3-11 p.m. and Sunday 1-8 p.m.
We've got Greek food, and we've got Greek food and we've got Greek food! Did we mention Greek food?? There's stuff you know about (Baklava, Gyros and Souvlaki) and a lot you may NOT know about, but it WILL be good! We're talking handmade and authentic!
And of course there will be carnival rides, games, church tours, a marketplace (with jewelry, leather goods, and imported Greek items), cooking demonstrations, live Greek music and some Greek dancing too!
So if you're thinking you could use a little excursion this weekend, the Panegyri Greek Festival may be just the thing for you and your family!
The video is from last year, but some things don't change much!
