Lake Isabella Open for 2012 Season!

You like the peace and quiet of wetting a hook in the water? The early spring warmth got you itching to cast? Then you'll be happy to know Symmes Township's Lake Isabella is now open for fishing from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through May 3rd. After that, summer hours start.

Add 750 pounds of rainbow trout to the lake and you've got some potential tug of war with the occupants of this 28 acre lake! And don't worry, they won't run out of fish since they restock weekly March-October!

Fishing tickets cost $10 for adults and $1 for kids 6-13 and $2.50 for seniors and Golden Buckeye cardholders. You'll need a Hamilton County Park motor vehicle permit too, $10 annual or $3/daily. You DON'T need an Ohio Fishing License for Lake Isabella.

So what does Lake Isabella have to offer? A fishing pier, full service boathouse, picnic areas, playground and even access to the Little Miami River. And boats are available to rent and boats with electric trolling motors are okay. They also have a reservable room and lodge along with a picnic shelter available for group outings.
