Bill Bartmann explains the process that entrepreneurs must go through in order to meet their goals in business
Tulsa, OK - Bill Bartmann continued his lecture series by discussing the myths of business ownership. "There are many elements involved with starting and growing a successful business," Bill Bartmann began. "When considering going into business for your self, understand the facts and the myths."
The first myth of business ownership is ‘you get to be your own boss.' "In a way, you do, but in a way, you don't," said Bartmann. "If you are thinking of going into business for yourself just to replace your "jerk" of a boss, think again. Consider your employees, your customers, your lenders and bankers and your vendors and suppliers. All these people will, in a sense, become your boss."
The second myth Bill Bartmann mentioned was ‘you get independence and freedom' to do whatever you want whenever you want to. "This couldn't be more untrue!" Bartmann exclaimed. "You will become very dependent on the success of your business. You may eventually gain some independence and freedom, but at first, be ready for a lot of work. At least you have some free time when you work a 9 - 5 job; when establishing a new business, be prepared to work longer hours, including weekends."
Bill Bartmann covered all the elements to consider when thinking about giving up a job and running a business. He warned his students that the research and preparation involved in going into business is very time consuming and demanding.
Bill Bartmann's final comments were, "Educating yourself in business essentials is crucial to your success. Operating your own business is full-time work, sometimes including weekends and holidays. You must be ready to make a commitment and be prepared to make plenty of sacrifices before you experience the reward that you want and deserve.

Entrepreneurs know that there is only one predictable way to become wealthy
Tulsa, OK - Bill Bartmann, self-made billionaire and business coach recently completed a series of lectures for a group of aspiring entrepreneurs. Bill Bartmann began the series of lectures as he asked the group why they thought they should go into business for themselves. The common answers included financial security, freedom and to get paid for doing what they enjoy.
Bill Bartmann said, "Going into business for yourself is the only predictable way to become wealthy; you need to take control of your destiny and decide what your rewards are going to be. Few people are lucky enough to be born rich, to marry rich, to inherit rich or to get rich by hitting the lottery. None of these paths to riches are predictable."
Bill Bartmann says that business owners do get what they deserve, including financial security and getting paid for doing what they enjoy doing. "If you go into business ownership with a positive attitude, good things generally follow; if you have a bad attitude, you will suffer the consequences," said Bartmann.
Though business ownership offers many great benefits, it is not for everyone. Bill Bartmann instructed his students to ask themselves these questions and to answer them honestly:
Bill Bartman said, "Considering how you answered the above questions, are you ready to be the master of your own ship and to control your destiny? Are you right for business ownership? Is business ownership right for you?"
"Not everyone is right for business ownership," said Bartmann. "It's OK to be thankful if you're fortunate enough to have a good job with benefits. You have this position because you possess the skills and knowledge required for this position."
Bill Bartmann has started 7 businesses in 7 industries. Through his business experiences he has learned a lot; Bill Bartmann shares everything he knows about business ownership and success with his online course, Billionaire Business Systems. Whether we are the direct blame for an outcome or just involved in the result, there is an opportunity for excuse or reason. Reason is a rational motive for a belief or action but an excuse is a defense of some offensive behavior or some failure to keep a promise. The key word in the definition for reason would be "rational"...in the definition for excuse it would be "defense".
Reasoning is thinking that is coherent and logical, and an excuse is a poor example. Remember when we were kids and mom would say "don't give me that excuse" or "stop making excuses". If we take a detour off the path and make a mistake, just own up, take responsibility, it makes the recovery go smoother.
If someone does us wrong, we don't really want to hear excuses, do we? We can be understanding and let people give a valid reason (if the have one). Lets say a man running a red light hits another car, he might say "well i was in a hurry" which is the reason he was running the red light but its just an excuse for hitting the other car. We can accept that he was in a hurry but being in a hurry is just an excuse to not use wisdom and reason. We cannot always control our circumstances, but we can certainly choose our reaction to them.
There is always a reason for everything, but there is never an excuse.
