I've been gone for a while and it seems so strange being back online here at Active Rain and posting.

Looking back at 2007 brings so many many good memories. Memories of the people that we've met and worked with... memories of our family... and memories of changes around our favorite spot, Lake Raymond Gary in Choctaw County.

2006 was our first full year of having our own office open and it was a great year. 2007 topped 2006 and things are going strong for 2008 already.

It has been the neatest thing to have folks from every where in the world find our Lake Raymond Gary ads online and end up buying property here even though they have never been to this part of the world. Some of them buying for investment, some to move to at retirement time, and some moving upon the closing of the transaction.

Our family has made our own transition from vacant lot at the lake to owning a lakehouse to get away to for week-ends. We have plans in 2008 to expand the business in new ways around the lake. As those plans materialize, we will be telling you all about them.

Christmas 2007 was the best ever. Family and friends gathered for food and fun. To me, it was what Christmas is supposed to be. Everyone getting along and caring for each other.

Waterfront Lot in The Point with "Marina Style" Boat Dock/Slip

Testing adding video to my blog. This is a new listing with boat dock/boat slip for sale for $45,000 on Lake Raymond Gary .

It's hard to walk with the camera in hand and still have a smooth video but at least it lets people see the lot.

It seems that the first video is viewable but the second one isn't??
