The Beeton Legion (Prospect Street) will be hosting its annual Super Bowl party on February 5th. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. downstairs, and pre-game festivities starts at 6:00 p.m.

Sponsored by Bud Light, there will be draws, prizes and free food during the game.

Come out, support your team, support your Legion and have some fun.

The elementary school public speaking competition will be held upstairs on February 5th. Registration is at noon and speeches begin at 1:00 p.m.

Starting in Jackson's Plaza at 10:00 a.m., this parade will travel west on Main St. Floats, Miniature Horses, Reindeer and the Jolly Old Man himself will all be part of the parade and festivities

After the parade, a meet and greet with Santa and live Reindeer (out front) will be held at the D.A. Jones Library at 42 Main Street.

Frolicking and Festivities for the entire family will continue throughout the day and culminate with Beeton's Festival of Lights at 6:00 p.m. on the Northeast corner of Centre and Main Streets.

Its that time of year again. As winter approaches, we are entering another flu season.
