Gabrielle Jeans Real Estate Web Solution Real Estate Trainer and Coach: Real Estate Brokerage in Toronto, ON

targeted keywordsHere are some tips that will help you choose those all-important keyword phrases.

1. Sit down with a pen and paper...brainstorm! I know this might not seem like a very high-tech idea, but it will definitely help.

2. Ask family and friends what terms they would type into a search engine.

3. Be specific and general

4. Include misspelled words! For example, bying, by and selling. This is a trick that many site owner's neglect-- and that is too bad! Using misspelled words is a great way yo target traffic that you, and your competitors, might otherwise miss. Research common misspellings of your keywords and include them in your list.

5. Include your region. For example, Toronto, Mississauga or Oakville.

6. Include the long and short form of words such as buy, buying, home, homes, houses and real estate.

7. Use as many variations of your keywords as you can think of.

8. Be sure to include your name or company name and domain address.
