Summer Time And The Festivals Are Numerous

Summer is definitely in full swing and so are the festivals fairs and boat shows across South Central Ontario. Living in Uxbridge, Ontario you are within 1 to1 1/ 2 hours of some of the Provinces best summertime events. There is not a weekend all summer long that there isn't something going on for your personal enjoyment.

Here is another popular summertime festival in The Muskokas.

The Baysville Walkabout Festival in Baysville, Ontario located at the south end of Lake of Bays

Saturday July 23, 2011  9am - 4 pm

Now in it's 23 year and wih over 120 arts and crafts vendors this festival is always a hit. here you will find displays of arts, crafts, antiques, woodworking, baking, and so much more just waiting for some one to fall in love with purchase and take home.

Come early and enjoy the Lions pancake breakfast before geting the kids face painted or having pony ride. There will be a petting zoo a live band and a multi talented busker to round out your days enjoyment.

If you miss out on the breakfast there will be other food and refreshments available throughout the day.

The chart below shows the number of Real Estate units sold in Lake of Bays, Muskoka for January 2010 compared to January 2009. You will see a 50% decrease in the Real Estate sales for Lake of Bays so far this year.

The chart below shows the average Real Estate selling price for Lake of Bays. The increase has been dramatic compared to same time last year. Although the number of Real Estate units sold are down, the average sale price for Lake of Bays, Muskoka has risen. This is caused by the purchase of the higher end homes or cottage on Lake of Bays, compared to the lower priced vacant lots.
