About Ottawa's Downtown

Stay away from the free t-shirts

Valerie Zinger: Real Estate Agent in Ottawa, ON

Let's say that you get a free t-shirt every time you apply for a credit card. You are not planning on using the cards but want the free shirts. Don't go for it. Applying for credit several times, makes lenders nervous. If you need to have a solid credit rating for buying a house these wanton applications will lower your credit rating and may cause you to lose something more valuable.....

The house of your dreams.

The Boys are Safe in Canada - Snowmen hiding out in the cold.

Valerie Zinger: Real Estate Agent in Ottawa, ON

In December, a number of my snowmen were shipped off across Canada and the US. I got eleven snow people out to eight new homes. Laura Baker seemed like a sympathetic soul and she said she liked the snowmen so she got one.

New and happy homes were found for all of the fellas. So, imagine my surprise when a package arrived two days ago. Somewhere out there in Laura's hometown the snowman has multiplied (see, I knew he would be happier there in Wisconsin)and some of these baby boys were sent to Canada for safekeeping.

Thank you Laura. These guys are safe and sound and will be kept nice and cold until next Christmas when they will reappear and start hanging around a Canadian Christmas tree.

When the weather outside if frightful, These snowmen are delightful.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Almost Wordless Wednesday on Thursday - Tulipe's Photo Op

Valerie Zinger: Real Estate Agent in Ottawa, ON

In October, I was testing out a camera lens by photographing the dogs. Tulipe looked a little worse the wear so I got out the comb and took out all the knots from her hair. If I had to choose, I would go for the first photo because she looks so natural and so unnatural (like an over staged house) in the second.

There is just something endearing about White Westhighland Terriers.
