I remember back in the early 80's when the Rajneeshee's came to Oregon. Specifically to the Big Muddy Ranch in Wasco County. This colorful group all wore shades of red. Their leader, the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, had a fleet of Rolls Royces. This was happening near the tiny town of Antelope, Oregon. Today the Big Muddy Ranch, now renamed Wild Horse Canyon is an amazing place, one of 25 Young Life Camps in the U.S. and Canada. They run camp programs for high school and middle school youth in the summer. There are other camps and retreats at various times during the year. Wild Horse Canyon has plenty of fun activities including a swimming pool, lake with Blob, climbing walls, skate park, zip lines, mountain biking, ropes course, weight room, ridge runners and sports center. Two of my kids volunteered in past years as volunteers for a month on summer work crew and enjoyed the experience immensly.
