Daily Video for Mortgage and Financial Market Update Aug 19th

Travis Neliton: Loan Officer in Beaverton, OR
Hello Friends! Today was an interesting day. What should have been a huge hit to mortgage rates with a "knock it out of the park" type reading on July's Producer Price Index (PPI), I am pleasantly surprised to see traders already "pad" the market with an anticipated bad reading. The main reason this did not make mortgage rates worsen by .25%+ simply is due to the drastic drop in oil prices over the past month. With oil prices dropping and feeling the immediate impact at the gas pump, I guess the traders are comfortable enough to not let the hot PPI number cause things to get out of control. Some other positive news for mortgage backed securities (your interest rate) is tough news for insurance giant AIG and their downgrade in stock value as well as Lehman Brothers stating a 4 billion dollar write down for the 2nd quarter. Please watch the video for more details! Be Blessed!

West Linn, Oregon Parks - Hammerle Park

Todd Clark (Broker) (503)524-9494 (Beaverton, Oregon Real Estate Expert): Real Estate Agent in Beaverton, OR

Hammerle Park is a 5 acre plus park located in West Linn, right off Hwy 43. This park, during the hot summer days, is great for kids as it has a wading pool that is only about a foot deep, but to a hot child, that is all they need!

This park also has swings, slides, and two different sets of playground equipment, one for older kids and one for kids under three. (Personally, I love this, as usually younger kids get run over on the bigger equipment by older and faster kids.)

Located at the north end of the park they have a Tennis court for anyone to use, and on the North side, they have two baseball fields that are pretty well taken care of compared to some of the ones I've seen in recent years.

The park also has bathrooms, so no need to leave the park if the kids should have to go, and for those of you with kids, you know how frustrating that can be.

The park also features a covered area for picnicking. But on the summer weekends, you do need to reserve it, as the park can be rather busy.

"Resident Heads" on the living room walls ~ Before & After

Maureen Bray ~ Home Stager Portland OR ~ Home Staging Portland Oregon: Home Stager in Portland, OR

Room Solutions Staging in Portland OR was recently contacted to stage an Occupied home. The sellers were very motivated to get everything in order to make their home presentable and to stand out among the other homes in their beautiful neighborhood. When we visited this lovely home, these "residents" mounted on the living room wall greeted us --

We were able to convince the husband that his mounted trophies needed to be packed away prior to showing the home. The brass fireplace surround was also easily removed, instantly updating this room.

The piano was moved so that it no longer fought with the fireplace to be the focal point. We then staged the living room using only the seller's items, and made it much more appealing to the target buyer. Potential buyers will now find this home friendlier and more inviting.

Room Solutions Staging in Portland Oregon helps homeowners and realtors maximize equity through exceptional home staging. Give us a call at 503-246-1800 and let us help your property sell faster in today's changing market.
