Living Room Realtors: The Coolest Brokerage Office I've Seen Yet........

On my trip to Portland for the Portland RainCamp, we spent a couple of days touring the city, and as you can see from my other blog posts, I'm a big fan of Portland now!

Great city, very progressive, very apparent respect for older architecture, and the people seemed very plugged in and evironmentally conscious. Recycling bins everywhere! Love it!

On our last day there, we visited NorthEast Portland, at an area on Alberta Street called Alberta Arts.

We had lunch as a very cool place called the Tin Shed. A great, fresh, ecclectic atmosphere and an amazing fusion-type menu, with the greatest outdoor patio. They are doggie-friendly too!

Anyway, right next door to the cafe we noticed a brokerage office called the Living Room Realtors.

We were intrigued because the office had this really nice renovated/urban-contemporary feel to it. So we stepped inside to introduce ourselves as Realtors from Los Angeles and were greeted by Brandy Hibben and one of her associates, Tim Pitts. They were both very friendly and welcoming of us to their office.

They were the nicest, most down-to-earth people you would want to meet. Brandy has been a resident of the area for a long time and seemed to have a very extensive knowledge of the Portland area.

I was way impressed. I thought to myself, if I were a realtor in the Portland area, I definitely would want to hang my license at this office.

Outside the building, they had a great sign explaining how they received alot of referral business because their clients recognize that the Living Room Realtors "Get It".

And based on my conversation with a couple of them, it is apparent.

Before writing this post, I looked them up online and found that they are Eco-Broker Certified like myself!! That, combined with the long list of testimonials on their site from their clients, sort of solidified my impression that they Living Room Realtors are the new wave of agents that are totally plugged in to their neighborhoods with a genuine concern for their clients and society in general.
