The Redmond Farmers market provides locally grown fresh fruits, vegetable, flowers, and meats. In addition, there is a craft section featuring local artisans. All products at the Redmond Farmers Market are from Oregon growers or artisans.

The Redmond and Bend Farmers Markets are making fresh fruits and veggies available to everyone in Central Oregon. Debit and food stamp machines are available as consumer purchase options.

Free Summer Concert Series by the Redmond Chamber of Commerce

This week's artist was local songwriter Ross Rogers.

Each year the Redmond Chamber of Commerce organizes a series of free concerts held outdoors at Sam Johnson Park. It's a great opportunity to get out and enjoy our wonderful Central Oregon summers!

The concert series, held every other Wednesday from 6:00-7:30, also provides opportunity to mingle and run into folks you may not see often. On the Wednesdays in between, another concert series, Music in the Canyon, takes place at American Legion Park from 5:30-8:00.

Pack up the kids, the family pet, a blanket and a picnic basket and enjoy a relaxing evening among friends!

We are working on our second day in a row of 80 degree weather, the flowers are in bloom, and pollen is in the air.

It seems a bit delayed but I believe summer has finally reached us in beautiful Central Oregon. Yeah!! Spring seemed to bypass us this year but I'll settle for summer if I must. Winter was a mild one and summers are always gorgeous, so no complaints here. I love living in Central Oregon with all it has to offer, including it's quirky little weather patterns!
