Official Sponsor, who me? Lincoln Speedway ~ Abbottstown, PA
Last night Chris, my hubby, led me out to the pits where we usually begin our eve
nings at the track. It’s really interesting to see the cars, in all the divisions, up close and occasionally get to talk with the drivers, teams, car owners, families and Lincoln officials.
I was a little later than usual getting there last night, the pits were a buzz with teams working hard accomplishing their last minute adjustments. Time trials had already begun. When Lincoln says racing starts at 7 pm they mean racing starts at 7pm.
This was a big night, the forth stop in the Keystone Cup series. There were approximately 55 cars in the 410 division which made for one crazy feature with 25 cars fighting for the win. Fortunately, there were no major accidents. Brian Montieth won the 30 lap Keystone Cup!
Central PA Legends where there, that was my first time seeing them, 4 cylinder race cars that sounded like a huge swarm of bees especially in
comparison to the rumble and thunder of the larger division cars. They were really cool. Bill Diehl won their division.
We went to see Duane & wish him well and see my official sponsorship on the 3W, how cool is that! My name on a race car at the local track!

Unfortunately, the rear blew on the 3W and Duane was unable to finish the race. That’s ok, Duane has won 3 of 6 Thundercar features this season at Lincoln and in running 3rd in points. There is always next week.
Justin Mong took his first career Lincoln win in Thundercars! Congrats Justin!
