As you can see the prices of homes in the Mechanicsburg/Cumberland Valley area have increased, but the number of homes sold has dipped. With the continued low interest rates and the selection of homes available, I am hoping to see that number increase for West Shore homes sold in March. IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BUY OR SELL A HOME IN CUMERLAND COUNTY! Average price per square foot for Mechanicsburg PA was $175, an increase of 41.1% compared to the same period last year. The median sales price for homes in Mechanicsburg PA for Nov 11 to Jan 12 was $200,000 based on 1 home sales. Compared to the same period one year ago, the median home sales price increased 13.5%, or $23,800, and the number of home sales decreased 99.2%. There are currently 826 resale and new homes in Mechanicsburg on Trulia, as well as 36 homes in the pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned stages of the foreclosure process. The average listing price for homes for sale in Mechanicsburg PA was $268,907 for the week ending Feb 15, which represents a decrease of 0.4%, or $1,131, compared to the prior week.
