It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center .

It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions th at include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.

Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite , LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,' recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. 'It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.'

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the 'hair on my neck stood up.' 'It had a big meaning to it for all of us,' he said. 'They knocked us down. They can't keep us down. We're going to be back.'

The ship's motto? 'Never Forget'

I was out in the rain showing property.  My GPS was yelling at me to turn Right, Turn Left...  My cell phone Rings:

"Hello Don Bradbury, This is Bob Stewart from Active Rain!  How are you today!"

My GPS was yelling at me loudly,,... In 100 Yards, TURN RIGHT, as I passed the road I was supposed to use.  Bob said  WHAT?  I had to pull over to the side of the road to turn off the GPS.

Bob!  I am great thanks.  How are things in Washington State?  Do people actually live out there?  Being from Southeastern Pennsyllvania all my life, Washington State is about as far away as the Moon.

I quickly thought of all the things I could have done wrong on my Blog.  I never plagerized on Active Rain - Honestly!!

Bob had called me several times in the last year to say hello, since I am ranked #1 in all of Pennsylvania in Points ( It is not about the points, right? )  This was the first time I got to talk to Bob face to face on the phone!

Bob Talked to me about the Growth Leader program, and how I would be the first Realtor in the entire Philadelphia Area, and certainly my TREND MLS area, to take part in this lead generation program.

WOW!  ME?  You have chosen me to stick my toe in the pool first in this area?  I wonder how cold the water is?  Little old me?  I am just a Phillies Phan who likes to sell houses!

So it won't cost me a penny.  The system will give me leads.  Perhaps 14 to 20 a month.  All I have to do is to follow on them correctly, and blog about the experience once a week, and talk to a Market Leader counselor once a week. 

My favorite word is FREE!  WHERE do I sign!!

So in the coming months, I will be sharing my new experiences with Growth Leader and Market Leader.  We will be talking about how the system works, and the trials and tribulations of working with internet leads.  We will talk about how we get them to the closing table.

I am very excited!  I look forward to a very prosperous 2009
